Abstract

Online learning has become an important component of contemporary education, providing students with flexible access to instructional materials and learning activities. This paper examines the relationship between online learning practices, student engagement, and academic performance. It considers factors such as interaction with instructors, accessibility of digital resources, learning motivation, technological competence, and participation in virtual classrooms. While online education can improve flexibility and accessibility, inadequate infrastructure and limited interaction may negatively affect learning outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of effective instructional design, teacher support, digital literacy, and learner-centered approaches in improving the effectiveness of online education
