Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and chronic respiratory disorders represent a major global health burden. Preventive healthcare plays an important role in reducing disease incidence through early detection, health education, vaccination, screening, and lifestyle modification. This paper examines the contribution of preventive healthcare strategies to the reduction of non-communicable diseases. Particular attention is given to regular health screening, nutritional interventions, physical activity, tobacco cessation, and community-based health promotion. Strengthening preventive healthcare services can improve early diagnosis and reduce complications and healthcare costs. Integrating prevention into primary healthcare systems is therefore essential for improving population health outcomes.Downloads
