Abstract

Industrial energy consumption has become an important concern because of rising energy costs, environmental challenges and the increasing demand for sustainable production. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart energy management system designed to monitor, analyze and optimize energy consumption in industrial environments. The proposed system integrates smart sensors, connected devices, real-time data collection and analytical algorithms to identify consumption patterns and inefficient energy usage. Energy data can be continuously transmitted to a centralized monitoring platform, allowing industrial operators to identify abnormal consumption and implement appropriate energy-saving strategies. The framework also supports automated control of selected electrical equipment according to operational requirements. The study demonstrates how IoT technologies can contribute to improved energy efficiency, reduced operational costs and more sustainable industrial practices. The proposed approach provides a scalable technological foundation for intelligent energy management in modern manufacturing facilities..
