If you're like me, maybe you've been feeling powerless to help in this current situation. Some days I feel good, and some days, the feeling is overwhelming.  When I get overwhelmed, and things feel really out of my control, I find it helps to remind myself of what I can do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can stay home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can wash our hands. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can teach our kids to find the small positives.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can hold space for them to be frustrated and sad. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can empower our kids to find ways to help. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We've decided that our way to help is to organize a fundraiser to support doctors, and other health care workers on the front lines. Many local hospitals are facing shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE), so we're organizing a fundraiser to help our local hospitals purchase equipment and other urgent items in this time of extreme need.
